Ashley Pollina, PT, DPT
Ashley Pollina received her BA in Kinesiology from Texas Woman’s University where she developed a lifelong interest in the scientific aspects of human movement. During her time in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of New England in Portland, Maine, she participated in faculty research projects, community outreach programs (medical tent volunteer at marathons, volunteer boxing instructor at a gym class for Parkinson Disease sufferers, etc.), and was a mentor for a first-year physical therapy student during her third year.
She has treated patients of all ages in a variety of clinical areas including post-operative, orthopedics, neurology, recreational and collegiate athletes, geriatrics, and balance/gait disorders. Outside of the clinic, Ashley enjoys reading, taking her chocolate lab for long walks/runs, playing soccer, trail mountain biking, spending time with her loved ones, and she is known to binge watch her favorite shows.
