I began my career as a Medical Assistant for an orthopedic surgeon while attending graduate school in San Francisco. During those two years, I developed a strong understanding of the demands of prioritizing patient care while efficiently managing a busy orthopedic practice. In my spare time, I had the opportunity to observe surgeries, which ultimately sparked my interest in becoming a Physician Assistant.I attended LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans for Physician Assistant school, where I knew I wanted to continue pursuing a career in orthopedics. After graduation, I accepted my first position in orthopedic medicine and have never looked back. Helping patients recover and return to the sports, activities, and lifestyles they love has remained one of the most rewarding aspects of my career. My approach to patient care centers on listening to each patient, understanding their individual concerns and goals, and developing a treatment plan tailored to their needs. I believe in providing compassionate, thorough care while educating and empowering patients throughout their recovery. My goal is to help every patient return to the activities and sports they enjoy safely and confidently, while ensuring they feel heard, informed, and supported every step of the way.Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my wife and friends, bouldering, playing beach volleyball, traveling, and, most importantly, making people laugh.
