Katie Kruger, PA-C
Katie Krueger knew she wanted to be a Physician Assistant since volunteering as a teenager at the local hospital in her hometown. She grew up in Colorado and attended undergraduate school at Fort Lewis College. Katie worked as a medical assistant and limited scope x-ray technician in orthopedics prior to becoming a Physician Assistant. Katie graduated from the University of North Texas Health Science Center with a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2010. She has a background in family medicine, urgent care and occupational medicine. She finds orthopedics and sports medicine a gratifying field to work in because she can help patients recover from injuries and overcome ailments to return to an active lifestyle.
Katie and her husband have three children that keep them quite busy. She stays active in her free time and enjoys sporting events, traveling and being outdoors but also enjoys slowing down for a good book from time to time.
